Individuals who are not able to process information to make necessary medical decisions or provide for their daily needs by feeding themselves, showering themselves, or taking their prescribed medications may be found incapacitated by the Court, which could enable a guardian, typically a loved one to be appointed to care for their person, and to manage their estate.
